JonBenét Ramsey’s Father Makes Bombshell Statement 28 Years After Daughter Died

John Ramsey’s Startling Assertion After 28 Years
John Ramsey, the father of JonBenét Ramsey, has made a startling revelation regarding his daughter’s unsolved murder from 1996. In an exclusive interview with People, he expressed his belief that a masked intruder may have been responsible for both JonBenét’s death and an assault on a 12-year-old girl in Boulder just nine months later.
He remarked, “To me, it could easily have been the same person,” while noting that authorities have dismissed this theory. Nevertheless, he remains optimistic that advancements in forensic science, such as DNA testing, could ultimately lead to the identification of the perpetrator.

Investigation and Media Attention
The initial investigation centered on JonBenét’s family, partly due to a ransom note discovered in their residence. JonBenét had suffered strangulation, beating, and sexual assault. Her parents, John and Patsy, consistently asserted their innocence, yet they became targets of media scrutiny. Patsy passed away in 2006, and neither John nor their son, Burke, faced any charges.

Notable Parallels Between the Cases
John highlighted the disturbing similarities between the two incidents. Both victims resided in close proximity, attended the same dance studio, and experienced intrusions in their homes. Despite these parallels, John believes that law enforcement “blew it off.” He urged authorities to utilize modern forensic methods in the pursuit of uncovering the truth.
