BREAKING: FBI Launches Probe Into James Comey’s Off-Books Op Against 2016 Trump Campaign

New leadership at the FBI has initiated an inquiry into the origins of a plan from a decade ago aimed at infiltrating Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign through the use of two female undercover agents in a so-called “honeypot” operation.

This covert initiative, which began in 2015 under the direction of then-FBI Director James Comey, was brought to light by a whistleblower who made a protected disclosure to the House Judiciary Committee last year, with initial reports appearing in The Washington Times in October.

The “honeypot” operation involved female agents feigning romantic interest in members of Trump’s campaign staff to extract information. Under the current FBI leadership, which includes Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, efforts are being made to identify these agents. This operation was distinct from “Crossfire Hurricane” and seemed to represent a “fishing expedition” aimed at Trump without any specific criminal allegations. Ultimately, the investigation was terminated when a photograph of one of the agents was on the verge of being published.
