A woman known as the ‘bikini tradie’ believes she has the right to work topless like her male co-workers.
Shianne Foxx, a Sydney-based landscaper, has raised her voice against the double standards in the workplace, calling for equal treatment when it comes to working topless on hot days.
The tradeswoman expressed her frustration on social media after her boss told her that working topless would be a ‘distraction.’
She pointed out the unfairness of a situation where male tradies can work without shirts, but female workers like her are not permitted to do the same.

In a candid TikTok video, Foxx shared her thoughts with her followers.
“It’s a f***ing 40-degree day today, and I’m the one who has to wear my shirt, while all the boys on the site don’t have to wear theirs,” she said.
“It’s a double standard, it’s s**ist, and I’m actually really over it. I just want to be topless like the boys, but no, I will ‘distract them.’”
The video quickly garnered mixed reactions, with some supporting her stance, while others voiced concerns over potential distractions in the workplace.
Foxx did not shy away from making her opinion known about the naturalness of breasts, arguing that there should be no reason for them to be seen as a distraction.

In an interview with News.com.au, she stated: “I thought it was only fair if I could get mine off too. I have no shame in getting my boobs out.
“I don’t think it should be ‘distracting’ because, at the end of the day, they’re just a natural thing. If you’re going to be childish and feel like they’re going to be distracting, then you should just grow up.”
The issue she raised touched a nerve with many of her followers, some of whom agreed that the workplace rules needed to be more equitable.
One commenter wrote: “It ain’t the lads you work with that would be complaining, direct the hate towards those running the show.”
Others argued that the rules should be challenged, even if it meant facing initial awkwardness or unwanted attention.

“Sure, there’d be comments and looks for a week or so, but then it really wouldn’t matter,” another user added.
However, not everyone agreed with this perspective.
Some worried that allowing female workers to go topless might lead to distractions and potentially increase the risk of accidents in the workplace.
A few commenters even speculated that it might take some time for people to adjust, fearing that the initial shift in dress codes could lead to a decrease in productivity.
Despite the mixed opinions, Foxx’s argument highlighted a broader conversation about gender equality in traditionally male-dominated industries.
She believes that as long as men are allowed to work shirtless, women should have the same rights, especially on unbearably hot days.

Photo Of Family At Beach Leaves People Creeped Out After Spotting Chilling Detail
A family enjoying a day at the beach in Melbourne, Australia, was left shocked when they noticed an eerie detail in the background of one of their photos.
The picture, taken at Carrum Beach, captured a father and his young daughter happily waving at the camera, seemingly unaware of what lurked behind them.
Upon reviewing the image at home, the family spotted something emerging from the water just a short distance away.
Their unsettling discovery gained traction after it was shared online, sparking debate among viewers about what the shape was, or if it was simply an illusion created by the waves.

The local rescue unit, SES Chelsea, had reported a shark sighting in the same area on the same day.
In a Facebook post, they stated: “We posted about a shark sighting, just off the beach, between Bonbeach and Chelsea. Well later, we received a message from a family, who follow our page, who were at Carrum Beach earlier in the morning.”
The post continued: “It was their little one’s first visit to the beach, and the gentleman’s partner grabbed a couple of snaps to record the day.
“Later, when they got home, and looked at the pictures, they noticed something in the shallow water, just behind them. Was this our shark?”
Social media users quickly weighed in with their opinions.
Some believed the image truly showed a shark fin, while others dismissed it as a coincidence.
One user commented: “Couldn’t be a very big one, given the size of the dog and the depth of the water.”
Another expressed skepticism, writing: “Looks a bit shallow for a shark that would have a fin that size, judging by where the dog and guy to the left are standing. Wouldn’t the other guy behind them have noticed?”
A third person added: “I agree that it can’t be discounted – but it’s highly unlikely that a shark cruising in the shallows would not be seen and those in the photo not aware.”

This eerie beach sighting follows another recent shark encounter in Australia.
Just days before, a massive great white shark, reportedly the size of a boat, was spotted near Aldinga Beach, south of Adelaide, Mail Online reports.
The 13-foot predator was seen patrolling the coastline, prompting officials to issue a public alert.
Fishermen captured footage of the shark circling their vessel less than half a mile from shore, using their boat for size comparison to estimate the shark’s length.
Beachgoers were warned to stay out of the water as authorities monitored the situation.
The incident served as a stark reminder of the potential dangers lurking beneath the surface of Australia’s coastal waters.
As for the mysterious shape in the family’s beach photo, the debate continues.
