‘Friends’ Star David Schwimmer, 58, Spotted Out with Younger Woman in Beverly Hills – Details

David Schwimmer had tongues wagging when he was seen on what is believed to be a date with a medical student in Los Angeles. Some netizens disapproved of the alleged match, while others thought the actor was reliving a scenario from a “Friends” storyline.

This past weekend, David Schwimmer was spotted having a meal in Beverly Hills. What stood out for most people was that the 58-year-old actor’s companion was a much younger 29-year-old woman.

During their outing last Sunday evening, they were seen leaving Beverly Hills’ upscale restaurant, Spago. After leaving the restaurant, the pair got into an Uber, with Schwimmer holding the door open for the woman identified as Eliana Jolkovsky.

The Los Angeles dinner outing with the medical student sparked dating rumors, with one shocked person noting“She wasn’t even born when friends [sic] started 😮.” Echoing this sentiment, another commented“[He’s] old enough to be her dad.”

Continuing in the same vein, someone else added“Of course, half his age are we surprised with these men???🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🙄🙄🙄🙄 [sic],” while another individual complained“Old enough to be her faster [sic]!! Yuck!”

However, not everyone opposed the possibility of the pair dating, with one individual writing“Good for David. Why not.” Someone else said“I’m all for criticising men that day people who are between 18-28, when they are in their 50s and 60s. But this woman is nearly 30 she’s hardly a young adult. [sic]”

Agreeing with the previous comment, a netizen added“So? Let him live his life with happiness- not a judgmental camera in his face. Best of luck to the both of them.”

Referencing Schwimmer’s “Friends” character, another remarked“Life imitating art. Ross was also seeing his student on the show,” while a Facebook user stated“He is reliving the season he dated his student.”

In season 6, episode 18, titled “The One Where Ross Dates a Student,” which originally aired on March 9, 2000, Schwimmer’s character, Dr. Ross Geller, jeopardizes his career by dating a student from one of his paleontology classes.

Geller discovers that one of his students is his secret admirer after receiving his anonymous teacher evaluations. The student, Elizabeth Stevens, played by Alexandra Holden, appeared in five episodes and eventually asked Geller out.

As her teacher, Geller believes dating a student goes against the rules and worries that people will disapprove. However, he ultimately decides to go out with her, concluding that he doesn’t care what others think.

Despite being informed by his colleagues that dating a student is against the rules, Geller and Stevens genuinely like each other and continue their relationship. At one point, the teacher meets his student’s father, Paul, played by Bruce Willis, but their encounter does not go well.

Stevens’ father immediately asks Geller why he can’t date someone his own age. He clearly disapproves of the relationship, and despite Geller’s efforts to make a good impression with the help of his sister and friends, he fails miserably. While there are similarities between Stevens and Jolkovsky, here’s what we know about the latter.

The UCLA student is a Jewish activist who, according to her Instagram page, is part Korean. Her social media page also reveals that she has done some gory medical procedures, such as performing cadaveric gut dissections in 2022.

She is also interested in Mizrahi history, attends Shabbat, and donates to help Holocaust survivors living in poverty. In addition to her studies and activism, she enjoys baking holiday-themed cookies and looking after her cats, Yonce and Ken.

In 2018, the Los Angeles resident was dating someone named Nate Sands, and she once shared Instagram images of them kissing. As for David Schwimmer, he was previously married to Zoe Buckman for six years before their separation in 2017.
