First-time mom is stunned when newborn baby lifts her head and crawls across the hospital cot

Three weeks past her due date, Nyilah Daise Tzabari entered the world on February 27, 2023, with a plan to make up for lost time. At just three days old, this incredible baby amazed her parents by lifting her head and scooting across her cot—a feat most babies don’t accomplish until months later.

A Baby Like No Other

Samantha Mitchell, a first-time mom from White Oak, Pennsylvania, captured the moment her daughter shocked everyone by crawling just two and a half days after birth. In a TikTok video that has since gone viral with over 57.5 million views, baby Nyilah uses her tiny arms to prop herself up and move forward. Samantha’s astonishment is clear in the video as she exclaims, “Oh my gosh, Mom! She’s crawling!”

Born at 7 pounds, 6 ounces, Nyilah has quickly earned the nickname “super baby” for her extraordinary strength and development. Samantha, who has over 20 years of experience with children, admitted, “I’ve never seen anything like this before. I thought her actions were normal until people began telling me otherwise.”

Viral Fame and Fans’ Reactions

The video of Nyilah crawling drew widespread attention, with many fans marveling at her strength. Comments ranged from humorous to encouraging, with one user joking, “These new babies are different—they come out crawling, walking at one month, and getting jobs by two!” Another quipped, “Rumor has it she boarded a plane the next day to start her life.”

Others offered Samantha practical advice, urging her to baby-proof the house immediately. “That little one is already on the move!” one commenter cautioned.

Beyond the Crawling Stage

Nyilah’s extraordinary milestones didn’t stop at crawling. By 18 days old, she was rolling from her belly to her back. At one month, she began smiling at her mom, and by two months, she was rolling from her back to her belly. At three months, Nyilah was already demonstrating her strength by slugging her mom with her tiny but powerful arms. In a playful video, Samantha laughs as her mitten-clad baby lands a punch, saying, “Oh, you punched mommy!”

Nyilah has also started standing with support, surprising her parents by refusing to buckle her knees. “We’re not trying to make her stand; she just insists on it,” Samantha said. “She isn’t standing on her own yet, but she holds onto us and is always trying to stand.”

Even more impressively, Nyilah no longer needs her head or neck supported—a milestone many babies don’t reach until several months old. Samantha and her fiancé, Ofer Tzabari, are in awe of their daughter’s strength and determination. “From day one, her strength has been shocking to us,” Samantha shared.

A Happy, Chatty Baby

In addition to her physical prowess, Nyilah is proving to be a very social and clever baby. At seven weeks old, she began mimicking her parents’ words, attempting to repeat “I love you.” Samantha noted, “It’s more like babbling, but she’s definitely trying to copy us. If she makes a noise and we laugh, she keeps doing it because she knows we’ll react. She’s such a clever baby.”

Nyilah’s happiness is just as remarkable as her developmental milestones. “She’s such a smiley, happy baby and laughs all the time,” Samantha said. “The second you smile at her, she smiles and laughs back. I hope her videos bring happiness to everyone.”

What’s Next for This Super Baby?

As Nyilah continues to amaze her parents, they’re preparing for her next big milestones. Samantha predicts it won’t be long before her daughter starts walking, given her current strength and determination. “She’s on the fast track to growing up,” Samantha said with pride.

For Samantha and Ofer, Nyilah has been an incredible addition to their family. Her unique abilities have not only brought joy but also highlighted how special every baby truly is. “She’s not an average baby for her age,” Samantha concluded. “I can’t wait to see what she does next.”
