Wheel Of Fortune Puzzle Turns Heads Online, Stumps Viewers Who Try To Guess It

A “Wheel Of Fortune” puzzle had the whole nation scratching its head at the same time.

The game went viral after a podcast host shared a screenshot of the puzzle to Twitter, garnering more than 40,000 likes and 13,000 retweets.

Hundreds of people answered the riddle with their best guesses, which included absurd ideas like “Return to Zork,” “Lick it fork,” “Duck at work,” and “Suck it dork.”

Additionally, some made incorrect assumptions.

In the meantime, onlookers laughed as they saw assumptions being made on Twitter, which in turn brought even more attention to the tweet—even from those who aren’t fans of the show.

The podcast presenter commented, “I really appreciate all the replies and quote tweets of this with alternate jokes.” “Can’t get enough of it!”

“[H]”Why can’t I be watching when this sh** happens, hahahahaha?” A Twitter user answered back.

Another said, “This is funny, but I hate that show.”

It turns out that “back at work” was the right response, which the astute “Wheel of Fortune” participant guessed in under a minute.

This is not the first time this year “Wheel of Fortune” has taken the internet by storm.

According to TIME Magazine, a contestant named Kevin made a funny error in March when he mistook “A Streetcar Named Desire” for “A Streetcar Naked Desire,” even making the TV show’s host laugh.

“And even though you answered correctly,” host Pat Sajak remarked to the victorious candidate, “I’d rather see Kevin’s play.”

People on social media flocked to Twitter to share their opinions.

One individual wrote, “Dude on Wheel of Fortune had to solve this: A STREETCAR NA_ED DESIRE,” according to TIME Magazine. “He requested a K. I’m going to lay down now.”

Another said, “I find nothing funnier than when Wheel of Fortune fails.” “Unlike Jeopardy it’s literally spelled out for you.”

“Hey, Wheel of Fortune contestant who just tried to fill in A STREETCAR NA_ED DESIRE with a K, DM me – I’ll buy you a beer or 20,” said the third participant.

A few weeks later, a competitor on “Wheel of Fortune” garnered national notice with yet another amusing riddle and solution, according to Thrillist.

In April, participants were given the word, “_O_EYS_CK_E B_S_” under the category “living things.”

The woman’s guess—”popsicle bike”—was somewhat humorous to say the least, given the right response was “honeysuckle bush.”

The competitor thereafter said, “I don’t know what I was saying,” according to the Dallas Observer. “Perhaps it’s because I noticed a ‘K’ at the bottom, but whatever, let’s go. I didn’t give it much thought, but my daughter said, “That’s going to spread like wildfire.”
