The Blonde and the Jigsaw Puzzle
A blonde called her boyfriend, feeling very frustrated. She asked him to come over and help her with a very hard jigsaw puzzle. She told him she couldn’t even figure out how to start it.
Her boyfriend asked, “What is it supposed to look like when it’s done?”
She replied, “According to the picture on the box, it’s supposed to be a rooster.”
Wanting to help, her boyfriend decided to go to her house. When he got there, he saw the puzzle pieces spread out all over the table. He looked at the pieces carefully and then turned to her with a gentle smile.
“First of all,” he said, “no matter how hard we try, these pieces won’t look like a rooster. Secondly, let’s not stress about it. How about we have a nice cup of tea and… put all these Corn Flakes back in the box?”
Little Johnny’s Clever Painting
In an art class, the teacher asked the students to paint a picture of cows grazing in a meadow. The children began to paint diligently. After a while, Little Johnny raised his hand to show that he had finished his painting.
The teacher walked over to Johnny’s desk and looked at his paper, which was completely blank. Puzzled, the teacher asked, “Johnny, you didn’t paint anything on it. Why is that?”
Johnny replied with a grin, “Well, the cows have eaten all the grass and since there was no grass left, they just went away.”
