Earlier this week, the “Gin and Juice” artist, now 53, addressed the backlash in a video he shared online. Staying true to his signature laid-back demeanor, Snoop appeared unfazed as he responded to critics.

In the clip, the rapper was seen sitting in a car, seemingly smoking a joint while gospel music played in the background. His response made it clear—he isn’t letting the negativity get to him.

Rapper Snoop Dogg is standing firm in the face of backlash over his pre-inauguration performance in support of President Donald Trump, making it clear that negativity won’t shake him.

In a video shared on Instagram, the “Gin and Juice” artist, 53, addressed the controversy while sitting in a car, seemingly smoking marijuana with gospel music playing in the background.

“It’s Sunday, I got gospel in my heart,” Snoop stated in the clip. “For all the hate, I’m going to answer with love. I love too much.”

The “Next Episode” rapper continued, reinforcing his confidence and identity. “Get your life right, stop worrying about mine. I’m cool. I’m together. Still a Black man. Still 100% Black. All out ’til you ball out or ’til you fall out.”

Snoop also addressed the ongoing criticism following his performance at the Crypto Ball, where he hyped up Trump supporters and spread a message of positivity through music.

Speaking on the “R&B Money Podcast” on Saturday, he reflected on his approach to handling negativity.

“You ‘gon deal with hate when you get to the top, no matter who you are,” he shared. “Me, personally, I answer it with success and love. That’s my answer to any hate and negativity that comes my way, ’cause it’s the strongest force that can beat it.”

Despite the controversy, Snoop remains focused on his music and message—choosing love over hate.
