Her mother ended up hooked on heroin and disappeared. I’m watching the cycle still continue. That’s another reason it’s so easy to draw inspiration from my songs: I’m still watching it in real time,” divulged Jelly Roll.

The 16-year-old shares her father’s musical talent. She often joins him on stage at concerts and even performs alongside him. At just 10 years old, Bailee wrote the song “Tears Could Talk,” which was featured on her dad’s album “A Beautiful Disaster.”

Jelly Roll narrated how this came to be, “A few years back, Bailee came to me and said that she wanted to do a song, and she told me she wanted to use writing as a means of therapy. She was probably 10 years old, nine years old at the time. And I said, ‘Well, I’d love for you to write something and if it’s good, we’ll put it on my album.'”

In 2022, Bailee posted a heartfelt photo of them together, writing, “You tell me all the time of how proud you are of the ‘young woman im becoming’… but i don’t think i tell you enough. i am so freaking proud of the human, artist, and father you are. what’s meant to be will be, and it turns out your meant to be a star ✨ i love you daddy, always 🫶 [sic].”
