As she succeeded in her career, her personal life has also had some successes. Davis dated some famous men in the entertainment industry. She values stability in a relationship and reflected on her past lovers in an interview once.
“I do have friends who have stable marriages and I look at them and admire what they have, but I don’t necessarily think I’ve ever had that kind of relationship,” said Davis.

The TV star has reportedly dated Alec Baldwin, Liev Schreiber, Reed Diamond, and “The Newsroom” creator, Aaron Sorkin. Davis candidly spoke about what one former boyfriend once said to her, without naming him.
“My ex used to say ‘Don’t be so independent!’ I’d be like, ‘What does that mean?’ He’d say ‘Let me pay for a cab.’ I’d say ‘OK.’ In a lot of ways, I am [independent] and men don’t like that,” she recalled.

Davis further explained that she was not aware of whether she intended to be single at that point in her life. However, she recounted being young and questioning why people were getting married then. “But I’m an actress – I’ve never exactly been the status quo,” she admitted. Davis is now 59 years old and has never been married.
The celebrity is active on social media where she shares glimpses of her life with her followers. She posted a selfie showing off her new hairdo on her Instagram account in early 2024. In the snap, she also showed her make-up-free face without fillers and left fans gushing over her beauty.

“It was enough of a problem for me to go, ‘This is something that could get in the way of what I want to do in life.’ Luckily my first boyfriend out of school was sober – which was super-duper helpful,” she revealed.

During this time, her life completely changed as she adopted a baby girl whom she named Gemma Rose. This was significant as she also had a child on “Sex and the City,” named Rose. However, in an interview on “Anderson,” Davis explained that naming her real-life daughter had no relation to her on-screen daughter’s name.
Since she secretly adopted her child, no one brought up the connection between the two. It was only after it became public knowledge that she was a mom, that people assumed she named her daughter after the on-screen character.
Meanwhile, in another interview in 2016, Davis spoke about adopting a black child. She discussed having an understanding of white privilege only after having her daughter in her life.

“I thought I knew before adopting my daughter that I was in white privilege, that I understood what that meant. But until you actually have a child, which is like your heart being outside you, and that heart happens to be in a brown body, and you have people who are actively working against your child, it’s hard. It fills me with terror,” she said.

In a 2023 interview, Davis discussed her use of fillers. Even after years in the spotlight, she admitted to being shocked at the mockery she and her castmates faced for signs of aging and cosmetic alterations.
“It’s hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times,” she confessed. “And it’s a challenge to remember that you don’t have to look like that. The internet wants you to—but they also don’t want you to. They’re very conflicted.”

She spoke candidly about her cosmetic procedures, sharing that she initially tried Botox. “I was super-excited I didn’t have to have my lateral lines,” she said, adding, “But I didn’t do anything else for a long time.”
Later, the star tried fillers and struggled with it. “I have done fillers, and it’s been good, and I’ve done fillers, and it’s been bad. I’ve had to get them dissolved, and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It’s very stressful,” Davis explained.

Now, she has a more relaxed attitude towards it. “It’s whatever. I can’t keep it up. I don’t have time. You’re trusting doctors [but] people personally blame us when it goes wrong—[as if] I jabbed a needle in my face.”
Referring to some work on her lips, Davis remarked, “No one told me it didn’t look good for the longest time. But luckily I do have good friends who did say eventually.”

After being made fun of for having fillers, the film star is now able to proudly show off her natural lips without having to cry about it out of frustration.
The public figure has consistently shared selfies of her natural look on her Instagram account, posing in the sun while showing off her wavy brown hair.
Each of these pictures captures a different facet of Davis’s personality. This is evident from her casual, homely moments to her glamorous public appearances.
