Tributes from fellow stars continue to pour in as the entertainment world mourns the loss of Liam Payne, who tragically died at 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16.

Music producer Zedd shared his grief on X (formerly Twitter), “RIP Liam… I can’t believe this is real…absolutely heartbreaking … 💔.”
TV personality and DJ Paris Hilton also expressed her sadness, “So upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPaynepassing😢 Sending love and condolences to his family & loved ones. 🙏 RIP my friend🥺.”
More musicians honored Payne with heartfelt condolences. Rapper Flavor Flav kept his message short but heartfelt, “RIP to Liam Payne,,, much too young 🙏🏾 [sic].”

In another IG Story, Puth shared an old photo of the two smiling at each other. He wrote, “I am so upset right now, may he rest in peace.”

While tributes continue to pour in, authorities are still investigating the circumstances of Payne’s death on Wednesday evening, October 16. According to TMZ, Payne fell from the third-floor balcony of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.
Earlier that day, hotel staff called emergency services after he was reportedly acting erratically in the lobby, smashing a laptop and needing to be carried back to his room.
The incident occurred after 5 PM local time. First responders arrived quickly, but Payne was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the fall was accidental or intentional.

Payne had been in Argentina on vacation with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy. She left on October 14, while Payne stayed behind. The singer had recently attended a Niall Horan concert, where he reunited with his former One Direction bandmate.
